About

Dr. William Stinger is an American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology certified physician practicing at West Valley OB/Gyn in Caldwell, ID. Dr. Stinger graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in Microbiology. He then continued his education at Des Moines University and then completed his medical residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH.

Dr. Stinger went into obstetrics and gynecology because it provided a unique patient population and offered the opportunity for life-long patient-physician partnerships. Dr. Stinger is excited to be bringing gynecologic robotic surgery to Caldwell for the first time and has over ten years of experience with the Da Vinci surgery robot.

Dr. Stinger likes to say, “let me worry about that so that you don’t have to.” He believes that the physician can work with the patient to offer multiple solutions to every problem.

In his free time Dr. Stinger is always outside, typically skiing, biking, or camping with his wife and children. He races both mountain bikes and road bikes and feels that being active and unplugged is a major key to happiness.
